I am so happy with our new shade from Shades Express! Tony installed one large shade on our kitchen sliding door. He was very friendly, professional, and very helpful in determining the right kind of shade for our door. I'm also very impressed with how quick the whole process was ... the shade was installed within one week of our first contact. The shade looks great and fits exactly what we needed. Thanks, Tony!
From start to finish, dealing with Shades Express was a Class A experience. We had 17 blinds installed and now have flexibility, privacy, and amazing sunlight. So nice to be able to push the blinds all the way up and let that glorious light in! The blinds transformed our home in a way I could not have imagined when I first purchased them. Tony was extremely professional and laid back, as was Steve, who installed our blinds.

We just had 2 more rooms expertly decorated with "up/down" shades from Shades Express. What a difference it makes to have both plenty of sunlight and plenty of privacy at the same time. Absolutely love our new blinds!!! With living on a state highway having a lot of traffic, we love the top down bottom up blinds to let light in and still have our privacy. Tony was great to work with! We had 13 windows in 5 different sizes quoted, and they were installed a week later. I would highly recommend these blinds to anyone!
These shades are not only practical but beautiful. We love them! Had our sun room done partially two years ago and loved the shades so much we finished with the rest of the windows.

We love these shades. They work so smooth and with very little effort. Our windows are very shallow and all other blinds had big headers. These are the only ones we could find they looked good on the windows. Even if you are not a DIYer you can measure and install these blinds. The videos show you what to do and it really is as easy as it looks. Tony is great to deal with and I can’t imagine buying from anyone else.

We ordered our custom blinds from Shades Express (met Tony at the Indpls Home Show and was impressed he didn’t bad-mouth his competitors like the others did). They give our sun room a fresh new look and we are very pleased with how little space they take up at the top of the windows – much less than expected. We can also tell a difference in the temperature of the room – no more cold draft! The installation video was clear and easy to follow. My husband had all eight of them up in less than two hours. It was an easy DIY job that saved us a few hundred $$. We will definitely recommend Shades Express to our friends and family. Thank you, Tony!

Each residence required 2 visits; one to take measurements and one for complete installation. Actual installation for each home required less than 3 hours without any furniture movement or disruption to the home. We were very impressed with the quick turn-around time. We have had many complements on the shades and have had Tony cover additional windows at each home since. The owner – Tony Haitsma custom fit, manufactured and installed 18 large window shades on our primary residence and has subsequently installed 23 shades on our lake house in Elkhart. His proprietary "up-down shades" are a fantastic design requiring no cords and with the unique ability to accordion fold to the top or to the bottom of each window with ease. What a wonderful experience! It is certainly refreshing to deal with a contractor who is professional, honest, and very skilled in his work. All of the window blinds in my home needed to be replaced; they were aluminum mini-blinds and many of the slats had become bent. I had one other company provide me with a quote for a comparable product (that actually didn't have some of the nicer features of Tony's shades), but its price was higher than that given to me by Shades Express. The work that was done for me by Shades Express was VERY reasonable. It was also of excellent quality; I am extremely pleased with the results. Tony was very helpful in terms of providing advice (when I asked) as to what he would recommend. However, he was never overbearing or pushy. My work was completed in a very timely manner. The shades were installed about a week after Tony took the measurements. In doing the installation, he removed my existing blinds and curtains/draperies; he then rehung the draperies/curtains once the new shades were installed. One of the shades did not fit properly. Tony actually pointed this out to me and is coming back tomorrow to install a new one (at no cost to me). Such honesty and integrity are to be admired. In all respects, it was a pleasure to work with Tony. He is responsive, polite, friendly, tidy in his work habits, and very customer-oriented. He aims to please.
